Boston Asset Management invest for clients in late development and early revenue stage companies - some of which are privately owned companies that intend to go public in the near future and some that are already U.S. publicly traded companies. Funding is raised via our private high net worth investors, typically European and American expatriates living and working in Asia and the Middle East.

The investment sector in which Boston Asset Management operates would fall into the aggressive category - although risk is considerably reduced through a multi-level level due diligence process using a network of securities lawyers, consultants, analysts, and chartered accountants (and U.S. certified public accountants), spending hundreds of man hours on numerous tasks. Our consultants visit a company that is seeking funding and study all aspects of its business including, but not limited to,

• (2) patents and other intellectual property,
• (3) the competitive advantages and disadvantages of the company's products in the marketplace,

• (5) management's plans to utilize those resources to create a profitable company and create value for investors.

Our criteria for recommending investment in a company is very strict and must be met before any investment recommendation is given to potential clients. We focus on companies that have the potential to generate excellent returns on the dollars invested and that have risks that are reasonable and that can be properly managed. The companies that we have recommended have povided returns that have substantially exceeded the overall performance of the U.S. stock markets.

Although there is now more information available over the Internet for investors, it will always be generalized and related to market movements, economic climates and interest rates. Very little notice will be taken of company fundamentals and most investors are still required to assess and evaluate companies on their own.
